We drew Ginger with Copic markers and coloured pencils in yesterday’s Drawing Faces class. I got the face shape wrong – too narrow around the bottom half of the face- and so lost the likeness but it was a fun draw.

When I’m drawing I’m not particularly conscious of my process so what I love so much about these classes is how they make me more aware of how a portrait appears beneath my hands.

This is Tako drawn with Copic markers and coloured pencils. There is so much wrong with this drawn and I was very unhappy with the finished drawing in my sketchbook.so I uploaded it to my iPad and did some more work on it digitally. Still not happy with it but I can live with it as it now.
