I love Riso prints and visited a Riso print exhibition last weekend. That prompted me to look for Riso brushes for Procreate. I found a beautiful set of brushes and Riso ink colour palettes made by Retro Supply.
I played around with the brushes and colour palettes yesterday to create this portrait using the Japanese Riso palette. Then I used the same line drawing to create a second portrait using a 3 colour palette, again from the Japanese ink palette.
I love both portraits. These brushes work in exactly the same way as my usual colour layering style so are perfect for me. Expect more of this.
