In this week’s Drawing Faces class we drew a cast brass Ùhúnmwèlaò (head of an óbà or king from the Court of Benin) from the 15th-16th century.
In yesterday’s Drawing Faces class we drew Minerva’s head from the Roman Baths in Bath, England. We used gridding to help with accuracy and I used Sharpies, Copic markers and coloured pencils for this drawing.

In yesterday’s Drawing Faces class we drew the Head of a Mesopotamian Ruler which is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and was cast in copper alloy around 2300-2000 BCE.
