I’m really enjoying learning to use coloured pencils for portrait drawing. I used Prismacolor Col-Erase pencils for line drawing and Tombow Irotijen pencils for shading.

I really struggled with this portrait of Molly from the Museum by Sktchy app. I couldn’t get the hair to work and made a bit of a mess of it. Still, it’s all learning!

I had a lot of fun adding the reflected greens and yellows to this portrait of Brittany. I experimented with adding Irotijen coloured pencils over the Bic hatching to soften it a little and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

I lost the likeness with this portrait of Eden from Sktchy but i loved drawing it and that’s what matters.
