Ballpoint pen practice today. I use Bic 4 colour pens in a range of colours plus a SuckUK 3 colour pen for yellow.

We drew Coral from the Museum by Sktchy app in yesterday’s Drawing Faces class. Really happy with how this portrait turned out.

Hugh

I like to know the names of people I draw, even though I’m usually drawing from a photo on the Sktchy app. This is usually fine because people mostly post selfies. But people do also post photos of friends and family and they don’t always add the person’s name in the caption. So in these cases I invent a name.

The inspiration photo for this portrait was posted by Laura and I’m guessing that this person is her partner (but I could be wrong). A way she didn’t note his name so I’ve invented the name Hugh for him. Say hello to the anonymous guy I’ve christened Hugh!
